GYROTONIC®
The GYROTONIC® METHOD
The Gyrotonic method is a movement modality that mimics the resistance of being in water. By using pulleys and weights the movement sequences help individuals lengthen and strengthen via a whole-body connection. The Gyrotonic method can thus assist in releasing habitual restrictions in the body as well as access the three-dimensional range of the spine in conjunction with the spirallic action of the limbs.
The modality of Gyrotonic exercises is suited to all individuals; it is adaptable based on whether a person wants to re-pattern an old injury or gain more flexibility and strength. In other words, Gyrotonic exercises assists with any movement inhibitions and thus helps establish general wellbeing.
